New Cruise-Rail Journeys Showcase the Best of Canada and Alaska

Rail Plus today unveiled its first-ever cruise-rail packages, combining an Alaskan voyage on Holland America Line's Zuiderdam with an unforgettable journey on board the legendary Rocky Mountaineer.

The Inside Passage Glacier Bay cruise travels in style from Vancouver to Alaska’s historic capital, Juneau, along the way passing spectacular islands, coves and bays, home to eagles, porpoises and killer whales. Passengers also experience Alaska's gold mining past, enjoy scenic flights and watch as ice crashes into the sea in Glacier Bay National Park.

On their return to Vancouver, guests step aboard one of the world’s great rail journeys, with two days aboard the Rocky Mountaineer as it travels north through the mountains to Jasper National Park.
