So you’ve got a motorhome in NZ and love exploring? Wouldn’t it be great if you could do the same in Australia? It’s a lot easier than you might think, and with the personalised service Gallivanting Oz prides itself, you’ll have the perfect camper hire for your adventure.
Firstly it’s important to ensure you have the right vehicle to provide a comfortable holiday for yourself and the freedom to explore. We use a number of suppliers to ensure we can help you with this – and the best bit is it costs no extra to deal with us.
Deciding where to go can be the difficult part. Some people prefer to go as far as they can with the time available while others like to spend their time in the one area and really get to know it well. Either way our experience allows us to help you. There really is no issue with safety when it comes to exploring Australia. There are plenty of people just like you doing the same thing. To make it even easier for you though, if you choose to book a campervan or motorhome hire with us for a minimum of 21 days, we’ll send you a copy of the Camps Australia Wide Guide for free. This map book details thousands of free or low cost camps situated all over Australia.
An option could be to explore the iconic outback. This is probably easier than you think with plenty of sealed roads and fuel stops. The scenery is stunning, particularly the sunsets and sunrises. At the moment it’s also really green too.
Another excellent iconic trip is to visit Uluru (Ayres Rock) but remember there is more than a rock to see. Gorges, hot pools and picturesque hikes are all waiting for you.
What about the Great Ocean Road in Victoria which is perfect to explore on your way to the Nullarbor? Time your trip across there to see the Southern Right Whales (May to October) from the stunning Bunda Cliffs and of course Western Australia is well known for its wildflowers from July to November.
One of the most memorable things about any trip to Australia is its unique wildlife – imagine having your morning coffee while listening to a laughing Kookaburra; or watching the kangaroos eat their breakie? Emus will nod at you as you pass them by in the Outback and if you are really lucky you may even see a camel.
