The Tuatara Tours Kaikoura Trail is a four-day, fully guided, combined walking and cycling tour, that runs from the inland township of Waiau (meaning turbulent or racing water) to the coastal village of Kaikoura.

You will enjoy spectacular views of the picturesque Lottery River Valley (looking back into the Hanmer Basin), walk over the Whalesback Ridge (sighting Kaikoura from the summit), cycle along smooth roads with hardly a vehicle in sight, enjoy fantastic high country scenery, and walk around the spectacular rugged coastline that has made Kaikoura so popular.
