Thank you G&J for making our New Zealand holiday a wonderful one. I searched endlessly for a campervan company that would allow for a pickup in Dunedin and drop off in Christchurch. G & J were the only company that were incredibly flexible, efficient and also one of the cheapest. They answered all our emails straight away and there were no hidden costs or all was honest and up front. They were happy to deliver and pick up the camper at our designated address. When they delivered the 2 berth van we were delighted to be meeting Brian and Bernie who gave us a quick tour of the camper and sent us happily on our way.

We hired a 2-berth van from Gary and Juliet for a month over Christmas and New Year.
The van was in good condition, clean and we cannot fault the service. The camper was delivered to our hotel on time and given a full run-through of the workings of the camper. The price quoted is the price you pay and there are no hidden extras (as we found some others charged).
We would highly recommend G&J Campers - in fact it was the great reviews we found here that made us choose Gary and Juliet over the other hire companies!

We hired a 4 berth campervan from Gary and Juliet over the Christmas period. I cannot fault the service or the camper. Gary and Juliet delivered the camper at our hotel on time and gave us a first class brief on the workings of the van, it was picked up two weeks later at a different hotel organised by us. The van was great, clean and tidy and we had no problems what so ever during the 2500kms travelled. The price quoted is the price you pay and there are no hidden extras just plain and simple great service. I would recommend G&J campers to friends and family so that gives confidence.

We hired the 2 berth campervan for 2 weeks to travel round the south island & were very pleased with everything about it. It was ideal for 2 people, as much room as any other camper van & easy to manoeuvre & drive (so much that my partner & I argued who would drive the last journey to the airport!). Gary & Juliet were very pleasant & easy to deal with. We would recommend G&J to anybody looking for campervans to hire on the South Island.

We hired a 6 berth van from Gary and Juliet for 3 months and they were a pleasure to deal with. The van was excellent - very comfortable and good value. We were slightly worried before we came in case there was a problem with the van when we were in North Island away from their base, and there might not be the backup of a big company, but when we had a minor problem they just told us to get it fixed and we were back on the road in a few hours. We are hiring from them again next year. Can't wait! We would definitely recommend them.

It was such a relief to find a campervan company that could accommodate our travel plans, I had spent hours on the internet and phone trying to organise someone who was prepared to arrange the pickup and drop off requests to no avail. Nothing was a problem. 1 week before we were due to leave I confirmed the booking with Juliet and she reassured me about our winter holiday and our comfort by adding she will put in extra quilts for us. NICE! Our plane only just got into Dunedin and all the roads were closed so Camper could not get through - no problems we were told and it arrived next day. (Worst weather for years), very luxurious and fuel efficient. It was a very refreshing experience dealing with this down to earth family and we would recommend this company to anyone. HAPPY HOLIDAYS :-)

Even though they are based in Timaru, not in Christchurch where we flew in, they happily delivered the camper to our motel, and made sure we were fully instructed on all we needed to know.
