The family lived on the farm where this big cliff resided alongside the Patea River & going through my grandfather's old pictures I found this interesting photo.
The Patea River was the boundry of the farm & photo was taken in the early 1900s with all the bush still standing.
Nowadays, the paddocks are covred in green grass...
