Waikato Home & Garden Show Day Tour 2009
Join us on Saturday 3 October for our day tour to the Waikato Home and Garden Show. Be there and judge for yourself who should win the Weekend Gardener NZ landscape design award.

Our coach will depart Auckland in the morning and travel down to Hamilton, the day tour includes touring from Auckland to Hamilton return, entry to the Waikato Home & Garden show, entry to the Hamilton botanical gardens and tour host.
The Hamilton botanical gardens are amazing and is a popular attraction in the region with about 600,000 visitors each year.
The theme of the Hamilton Gardens is 'the story of gardens' explored in a series of gardens and settings.
- The Paradise Garden Collection featuring gardens of Indian, Italian, American and English and the recently completed New Zealand garden.
- The Fantasy Garden Collection.
- The Cultivar Garden Collection.
- The Landscape Garden Collection with areas representing the different historic landscape interretations.

The Melbourne Flower Show is everyone's favourite Australian garden show – with the venue right in the city central at the Charlton Show Grounds, shaded by old trees and easily accessible from our hotel.

This 5 day tour includes Treasury garden, Fitzroy garden, Cook's Cottage, Victoria State Rose gardens (featuring 5000 Rose's), the Royal Botanical gardens and Weribee Mansion House. Apart from these gardens we visit places of interest in Melbourne and we have a full day tour along the Great Ocean Road, plus the Twelve Apostles, Bells Beach, Otway National Park, "Shipwreck Coast" and more.
The tour also allows time for shopping at the Queen Victoria Markets or the chance to explore one of Melbourne's many Art Galleries or Museums.

This 14 day escorted tour commences in Amsterdam and visits some of the world’s best regarded gardens including Hortus Bulborum and the Keukenhof Garden, with its spectacular massed tulips and daffodils.

From the Netherlands travel through Belgium to Paris. In Paris we visit the Luxembourg Gardens, Notre Dam and tour the French capital. We also spend an afternoon at Louis XIV's magnificent Versailles Palace with its sweeping gardens and over 600 water jets.
The next highlight is Monet’s Garden at Giverney, with its two distinct parts – the flower garden ‘Clos Normand’ and the Japanese inspired water garden.
No trip through France would be complete without visiting the Loire Valley with its magnificent Chateaus and gardens such as Cheteaux Vaux-le-Vicomte “the forerunner of Versallies” and Fotainbleu.
Or next destination is London, from there we explores the Cotswolds with visits to Sudeley Castle and Hidcote Manor. The tour also allows time to visit one of the world’s most celebrated gardens – Sissinghurst, the creation of Vita Sackville-West.
We cap off the tour with the famous Chelsea Flower Show, regarded as the ultimate event in the gardening calendar. The Chelsea Flower Show is attended by keen gardeners and landscapers from all around the world, with new plants often launched at the show.
