Join Silvana, your kiwi/Swiss tour leader on the ultimate European Skiing holiday in January 2011. Spend a week in Grindelwald, exploring 240km of runs beneath the Eiger North Face. Imagine skiing down slopes lined with snow laden trees, then stopping for a divine hot chocolate or mulled wine at one of the many restaurants on the mountain. If you need a rest, slap on the sunscreen and relax in a deckchair on the snow with a stunning view of the valley. At night enjoy a delicious cheese fondue then sled 6km back to the village, it's an experience you'll never forget.
Then head to Italy's Dolomites and for a week in the stunning Val Gardena to ski the famous Selva Ronda. It's a 26km ski loop with 13km of lifts that will leave you exhilarated. To get the most out of this trip you should be abel to ski at an intermediate level. This tour is designed for maximum enjoyment and most runs will just be at an intermediate level. However there are many runs to choose from and you are free to ski with the group or on your own. Silvana will be more than happy to make suggestions for runs to suit you.
Starts January 14th in Munich, ends January 30th in Lucerne. Approximate cost $5300 per person including all breakfasts and all dinners, two times 6 day ski passes, accommodation on a twin share basis and transport within Europe.
