Julie previously travelled to Egypt & Jordan in 2009 with Middle East Specialists, The Innovative Travel Co. (Ancient Kingdoms Holidays) and commented upon return that the trip far had exceeded her expectations.  The many highlights included swimming in the Dead Sea, touching the ancient Pyramids and meeting the delightful, vivacious locals.  This amazing experience was the catalyst for Julie deciding to host a tour in May 2011, for others like herself who may feel they are unable to participate in such an amazing adventure.  “I want to encourage people to do something they didn’t think they could ever do and have a life-changing experience.  Travelling blind is about making the most of the senses you’ve got”, says Julie, ”It’s about the food, the sounds, what you feel at your fingertips and the more interactive, the better”.
