There are so many different areas in Australia to explore.  The options below are just a taste of where you can explore in Australia.

 • The Kimberley region is a popular area to explore, either by a  2WD or 4WD vehicle, perhaps with a pick up in Darwin, and return to Perth, or even Broome if time is tight

 • If you have an interest in 4wding, you’ll enjoy travelling the Gibb River Road in a 4WD camper, which really lets you explore the Kimberley region.  The Bungle Bungles on the Great Northern Highway in the East Kimberley region should also not be missed.

 • Crossing the iconic Nullarbor is also high on the list for a lot of Kiwis.  You can pick up a vehicle in Perth, and travel to Adelaide or Melbourne.  If you have more time, think about travelling  to Sydney or even Brisbane.

 • Exploring the East Coast of Australia is a fantastic. Beautiful beaches and the stunning rain forests in the tropical north are waiting for you.  This area attracts lots of kiwis escaping the winter.

 • Many travellers have Uluru (Ayres Rock) on their list of places to see.  However you will be amazed how many other things there are to see on the route from Adelaide to Darwin.
