The Trusted Choice In Homecare

Choosing an in-home care provider is a big decision and it’s reassuring to know Geneva Homecare has a large team of highly trained and experienced carers and nurses available nationwide, whatever your needs.

Whether it’s help after an accident, in-home care for a family member, or disability support, Geneva can provide the right assistance for you.

Geneva Care is one of New Zealand’s most trusted and qualified homecare service providers, supporting New Zealanders in their homes for more than ten years.

Not only will Geneva provide compassionate and skilled carers to assist with those daily tasks such as dressing and preparing for the day, companionship and getting the housework done, but when needed they have qualified staff to provide clinical or specialist services associated with palliative, post surgical rehabilitation and dementia care.

All this in the comfort and security of your own home.

Jo Wallis, Chief Executive says Geneva Care has expert staff available to help people make the right homecare decisions. She also points out that people organising the help are often not those needing it.

“90 percent of the time care is organised by family or friends so it’s really important they feel they are making the right decisions.”

A new trend emerging in Homecare is the ‘gifting’ of services, especially for new or expectant mums.

“Those first few days as a new mum are pretty tough and no one knows this better than someone who’s been there,” says Wallis. “I think this is why we’ve noticed an increase in ‘gifting’ care. Women will pay for the services of one of our carers as a gift for a friend with a new baby. Our in-home helper can manage the housework, grocery shopping and prepare meals while mum gets her head around the new arrival. It’s a very thoughtful gift, especially for those new mums who don’t have family nearby.”

When you call the free phone number (0508 HOMECARE / 0508 466 322) one of Geneva’s specialist Consultants will ask you a few questions to assess your level of need. They will then work closely with you to create a personalised service or care plan and arrange for the care to begin.

Consultants are available between 5:30 am and 11:30 pm and can, in most circumstances, respond to your query immediately.

Geneva’s services are available nationwide and you can be sure you will receive professional, knowledgeable and compassionate help from your very first contact. So why not give us a call, you won’t regret it.
