After doing my shopping at my local supermarket. I was checking my docket( as you do). And noticed that because of GOVT legislation tobacco items can not contribute to the fuel offer. ( you spend $40 and you get 4cents a litre off). The thing that has me stumped is that when you buy Beer or Wine that goes toward the fuel offer. Now i maybe wrong but i dont remember the cops having smoke driving bans ( im talking normal smokes not the other stuff ). Surely if it so bad to smoke and we know it is cause we get told from every angle. Why do they say its ok to buy the booze at your supermarket and get your gas at a cheaper rate. Then go out and kill or injure someone? Guess the moral is buy your booze from the supermarket get your gas cheaper and have fun on the roads( if you can remember). Is this double standards or what?. I both smoke and drink but do not own a car and do not drive. Like to hear your thoughts on this. Thanks for taking the time to read one old fellas ramblings
