There is word out in cyberspace that Windows Vista has still got problems, and so some of us are still staying with XP.
However that does not mean you can not have a taste of Vista.
Just mosey on down , or Google along, to 'Vista Start Menu', that is a program that when executed, puts a Vista type start menu on your computer. I have installed and uninstalled and re-installed the program without any problems, and the cyberboffins, otherwise known as Geeks, said it was an OK application. It looks pretty and is enjoyable to use.
Enjoy

by kilsby 6th August 2009 I agree. I am a retired computer technician and can advse (free of charge) on most computer queries. What a lot of folk don't realise is that VISTA uses 1gig of RAM (memory) just to run. Increasing RAM on Vista PC's is an absolute must have. I would suggest a minimum of at least 2-3 gig of RAM maybe even 4gig. You'll be amazed at the difference and far less problems. Have a great day...john
