CNN concluded in a recent study that 90% of internet users have some form of spyware installed on their computers. If you are one of them you are probably being barraged with pop-ups declaring – Warning spyware detected on your computer. But are these warnings accurate? Be very careful because you may be falling victim to a trap that could put you and your computer at risk
So how can one know if the warning spyware detected message is real or false? Well these are the common features of a “false positive” warning spyware detected message:
