Chatroom Update
We have made an update to the Chatroom on GrownUps.
How that chat now works is that if the user is scrolled to the bottom of the chat history (which it is by default) then it will jump down to show every new post.
However, if the user has scrolled up to look at a previous message then the chat history will not move when a new message comes in. This is so that people can continue to read whatever they were looking at without being interrupted.
As soon as the user scrolls back down to the (absolute) bottom the default behaviour returns and it will continue to jump down to show every new post.
