Good morning,
As I have spinal stenosis, walking and standing can be difficult and painful. My husband bought me a walker and for the second year I have been able to walk in the Survivor's Lap in the Relay for Life. I have also been able to go half way around the Hamilton Lake (only my arms got tired!) for the Pink Appeal for breast cancer. Having a walker has meant I can shop and browse, not having to worry if I cannot get a car park just outside the shop. I was so pleased with it, I wrote to the manufacturer and am now on their website!
If it is pride that is holding you back from getting something to help you - don't. It has made such a difference to know that "Miss Daisy" (Driving Miss Daisy) is there.
Sincerely
lulu239
