Meet Julie Crean

Julie Crean is Editor of www.planmyplay.co.nz a website dedicated to things-to-do in New Zealand.  A self-professed explorer, she was frustrated with the lack of inspiration at her finger tips so helped create a website to assist others to enjoy more of their own backyard.

Julie is a mum of three active boys and appreciates the challenges of getting Generation Z off the sofa.  Spending virtually every spare moment exploring, she is a regular blogger offering personal experiences from surviving the school holidays, to uncovering little gems throughout New Zealand.  

Plan My Play has an underlying belief that play is ageless.  [play/plā/ verb: to engage in activity for enjoyment and recreation rather than a serious or practical purpose].

“If you have time and the inclination, then you have time to play” says Julie.  

planmyplay.co.nz suggests a range of activities throughout New Zealand which can be filtered under various categories: Chill, Thrill, Explore, Free Play, Child’s Play and even Rainy Days.  Offering directions and helpful advice, articles are easy-to-read and chatty.
