Kay Rayner, writer and film producer, enjoys reliving her childhood memories through her children’s books.
In 2007, Kay collaborated with her son-in-law Jonathon to write and publish ‘The Pipsies’ series of children’s stories. These stories were born from her childhood fantasies and focus on a family of little furry creatures that lived in a garden.
Kay is still working on more books to add to the series.
Over the last few years short story writing and executive producing a feature film (which was released on Anzac Day 2012) has helped Kay fulfil some of her long-held personal goals.
Kay is married with three children and four grandchildren. Kay’s other interests include planning overseas holidays with her family (particularly to Italy) and indulging her love of Musical Theatre.
