Trussed with Mata Hari dagger to deter antagonists
It's a towering beacon through lighted windows
Pencil ready, stabbing tokenistic notepad
Motionless eyes deflect her robotic recall
Dalmation dialects sound out amidst sizzling aromas
She remains unflustered, unperturbed: focussed
Finally
Drunken uncle introduces me the birthday augustian
But took some doing to extract him from his Family's Naval
Nevertheless I'll never forget
Joy oh joy is a late Thursday night
Boy oh boy such heavenly delights
Steak eggs and chips, there's no holding back
Generous lashings of bread and butter, no keeping track
She stands in timeless respectful patience
Her name is Mary...
