The Internet – A Scary Place Or A Way To Make More Out Of Life?

Andrew Haddleton - Founder of GIG Marketing (Get It Going)

Andrew, after over 30 years experience in marketing in multi-nationals, SME business consulting, lecturing and business-owner, fervently believes that most business-owners and managers are given the wrong advice by their advisors.

Marketing is generally viewed as an expense when in reality, as Peter Drucker said, it is one of only two investments a business can make, innovation being the other.  All other activities are a cost, yet that is where most senior managers and owners focus the majority of their attention.

Yes, manage costs but that is what staff are supposed to do.  Growth only comes from marketing and innovation.  And profit growth is the only and ultimate responsibility of the owner or CEO.

Andrew’s greatest contribution is his strategic vision and was once described by internationally-renowned marketer, Mark Joyner, as having not a helicopter view but a U2-spy plane view of a business’s potential.

He applies his broad range of skills from initial research, through strategic planning, on-line and off-line marketing, joint-venture consulting and copy-writing to get results for his clients.  He has also achieved some impressive results in search engine optimization, getting a number of clients to the first page of Google.

Andrew, a constant learner, invests at least one hour a day to keep himself at the forefront of new ideas so that his clients stay ahead of their competition.

Andrew, a father of two, loves coaching soccer and uses his strategic vision to show his young teams how to beat the opposition. His greatest delight is that the team has been champions two years running.
