Spring 2008 Photo Competition
We're pleased to offer our 4th online photo competition for photos taken by, and entered by, registered members of the GrownUps website (registration is Free).
- Photos can be taken on either a digital camera or scanned ‘film’ photos
- There is no age restriction on the photos themselves
- Open from 29th September 2008 until 30th November 2008, via the GrownUps website
- Voting will be open for a period in December and is open to all GrownUps members
- Winners will be announced following the close of the voting period
- Free entry - open to all (NZ) registered users of GrownUps
- All photos to be uploaded through the GrownUps site in a few easy steps
Please note that by entering the competition, you allow GrownUps to publish your photos online, for use either in promoting the current competition, PR, promoting future competitions and/or for use in the daily jigsaw & slider games (and any others that GrownUps wishes to use.) Your photo will still be copyright to yourself and this does in no way allow others to use your photos. Your photos will be credited to you.

I want to enter a photo but I am not sure how to import it into this site. Please help, photo is in my photo gallary

I have tried to move photo into the spring photo compertition. I just cant seem to do it. Why? I have the latest Programme. Can someone please help
Hi Janet,
Click on the browse button and your files will come up, you choose where you have your photos and click on the file, all your photos should appear and then you click on the one you want to submit. I hope that helps.

I have an XP computer and that works fine, my Vista one (where the pics are) it will not work
lemin, you will have have the pics on the same computor as this site. Unless they're networked. Then use the browse to find the network path.
Are we allowed to enter more than one photo in each category?

Yes I have to be agreeing too, I would've thought we would be able to submit more than just one photo per category. It appears not. Can anyone clarify this? I've read thru the rules but can't see anywhere where it says how many pics can be submitted. Oh well, such is life....
Hey guys bring up yur photobucket folder and copy the hotmetal file html. this is the one that works if you havent got a photobucket account then google same and follow the prompts even I got it right and I am but a male LOL good luck look foward to seeing your input regards toodgs

I just went to attach on my internet site picked photo and then browsed through my photos and attached the one I wanted and sent it off
I can't even find the browse button! I click on "click here to enter" and it just takes me back to the same page over and over with no browse button or any directions on how to enter. Help!
I can't find where to go to vote for the photos. I managed to find it last week. Anybody out there who knows.

Hello I'm very new to this. Just wondered if anyone can tell me how to reduce mb size of photos. Mine all seem to be over 2mb and I cannot seem to see how to reduce them. Thanks.

There are several size reduction free programs if you google for photo resizing, I use PIXresizer which is an easy program. Hope this helps. Grandpa Joe

Hi all, sorry for any confusion. The Photo Competition will close on the 30th of November and voting will begin in December. You will be able to see all the entries and vote on them at this time. Until the 30th of November, however, you will only be able to see your own photos on your entry page. Thanks very much and good luck in the competition!

Hi all - Just to make it a little easier, I found creating a file on the decktop (leave as 'new folder') and 'save as' my selected photos there first - then when you click on 'browse' , click on desktop, double click on your 'new folder', right click on selected photo, click on select - when downloaded, click on submit - should work if I have`nt missed anything out!!

HELP !! I have uploaded my photo but cannot find how to submit it All I get is "edit" or "delete" the photo. How do I get to the next stage to submit my entry along with my details?
Hi gypsy spirit, I don't think all the enties can be viewed until the competition closes. However I would like to know how to view my own entries I cannot see anywhere to do this. Also to longjohn is what you mention a club or run through grownups. Cheers.
Once your photo has been uploaded through the browser, you won't see it, fill in the details of your photo, caption etc. and click submit. The photo will appear. That's what happened for me.
I'm the dame as dysney fan nowhere to submit. Just read captions saying to edit or ti delete. How do I submit?

hmmmm I have added my photos but now cannot see where they have gone too - it's a mystery as I was able to change them before. Competition doesn't close until the 30th, is that right? then viewing/voting in December? else I have read it wrong....
I tried entering again but I know I have logged in and it says click here to enter and nothing happens. Anyone else with this problem ?

In your purple toolbox, underneath your avatar area, there is a group of notices. The third one down is the link to view all of the photos..and there are HEAPS !!! Happy viewing everyone.
