Potatoes (the amount depends on how many people, allow at least one medium sized potato for each person)
garlic 2 - 3 cloves,depending on taste
cream,about 1/2 a cup,more if cooking for larger number
grated cheese, enough to cover the top when finished
Method:
Peel & slice potatoes into medium thick slices
crush garlic
Layer potatoes & garlic in a greased casserole dish, slowly pour cream over till almost covering then add salt & pepper & top with grated cheese. Cooking time depends on how many you're cooking for,but around 3/4 of an hour at 200,lowering heat if needed. This dish goes well with almost anything
