2 large onions
seasonings to taste
1 tsp marmite
6 oz breadcrumbs
warm water
6 oz grated cheese
1 tbsp chopped parsley
2 well beaten eggs
4 - 6oz chopped mushrooms
Saute oils in a little oil. When tender add mushrooms and cook for further 4 minutes.
Mix breadcrumbs in a bowl with cheese, seasonings, marmite ( softened in a little warm water), parsley and eggs.
Add cooked onions and mushrooms - mix together well. Pour into greased loaf tin and bake at 400F for 30 minutes.
Serve sliced hot or cold. Great used cold at picnics or served with salads.
