2 onions
1 tsp marmite ( softened in a little warm water)
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
6 oz dried breadcrumbs
6 oz grated cheese
2 well-beaten eggs
4 - 6 oz chopped mushrooms
Seasonings
Saute onions in a little oil. When tender add mushrooms and cook a further 4 minutes. Mix breadcrumbs in a bowl with cheese, seasonings, softened marmite, parsley and eggs. Add cooked onions and mushrooms. Mix well.
Pour into greased loaf tin and bake at 400·F for 30-35 minutes.
Serve sliced, hot or cold. Ideal with salad.
