In June 2007 Brent struck a match and lit his first prototype pizza oven. He cooked some toast in just a few seconds and knew he was onto a winning design. Since then Piazza have developed an extensive range of Pizza Ovens and Mobile Ovens which are now being exported to many different countries around the world.
The piazza range of ovens are a very desirable addition to the entertaining and relaxation aspects of peoples homes and lives. To light a small fire and cook food with friends close by is a very natural and pleasant time. It’s a chance to sit down and talk with the slight hint of a campfire and the sizzle of a leg of lamb enhancing the occasion.

With a Piazza Oven on the deck a family can also save money. Entertaining doesn’t have to mean going out to restaurants and paying hefty prices. Rather inviting friends over and cooking in a wood fired oven is a novelty that is attractive to both the host and the guests. The combinations and interest you can create in a pizza is just the beginning. The oven provides the means to throw a full dinner party and all with the special sparkle and flavor only a wood fired oven can provide.
There is also very good economy in a pizza party. To make a home made Pizza Base costs around 30cents. With some carefully planned toppings you can produce a stunning pizza for around $2.50. This enables even larger parties to be hosted for a very modest cost. The guests too enjoy having a part in the cooking experience. Adding their own toppings and mastering the skill of placing the pizza into the oven all provide entertainment value.
All Piazza Ovens are manufactured with a triple skin. The interior Core is a high fired ceramic liner fired at over 1000 degrees. This is designed to take the initial impact of the heat. Outside of this interior liner a 25ml ceramic insulator and an alloy reflector create the insulation. These work together to minimize heat loss and improve cooking temperatures and exterior safety. The exterior of the oven is finished in a modified render of not less than 40 mls thickness. These three mediums work together to provide an oven that is safe to use and is capable of close tolerances to flammable surfaces.
