I don't know quite what it is that makes
makes me feel this way
when with you I close my eyes.
And you
standing here with me tonight
bathed in the silvery moonlight
an aura of beauty for all the world to see.
I don't know
quite what it is that makes
my eager heart to race
when I feel the warmth of you next to me.
And the stars
begin to pale on high
when you they espy.
And I am left wondering
just what it is
that I feel.

I have known many loves before.
Before I met you.
So many loves so true.
But none of them
can compare with how I feel
when before you I humbly kneel
and give to you my heart and all
that lives deep within me.
I don't know
what it is that makes it so
this love that you bestow
and give to me so freely with your heart.
In my life
I have never known
such a love as this
A love that can only be
sent from heaven.
Heaven above.

And so it is
I ask you for your hand
to take here within mine
and join with me as one as we journey
through life
to places yet unknown
places that we will share
and only to us be known
when we make love.
Love
As one.
