But he discovers all too late that his biggest nightmare has stowed away on the trip: an overly optimistic 8 year-old Wilderness Explorer named Russell…..
UP is the 10th film from Disney/Pixar, which has gone nine from nine with an unprecedented streak of hugely successful films comprising “WALL-E”, “Ratatouille”, “Cars”, “The Incredibles”, “Finding Nemo”, “Monsters, Inc.”, “Toy Story”, “Toy Story 2” and “A Bug’s Life”.
UP has been met with rave reviews since its New Zealand release on 10 September – here’s a sample of what they’re saying:-
“Up is a ready-made classic; an imaginative, invigorating story that will transport you to a time in your childhood, like Carl’s, where dreams were just a handful of crayons away” – Andrew Hedley, flicks.co.nz
“Pixar's best film since, well, the last one” – Russell Baillie, nzherald.co.nz
So treat your grandkids these school holidays and go UP!
Sky Tower is celebrating the release of UP in association with SKYCITY Cinemas from Saturday 26 September to Sunday 11 October, 10am-4pm daily with great UP themed activities and prizes:
