Leafy green trees fluttering in the cooling breeze
Birds, bespeckled Thrushes listen, watch, then dive upon their prey.
Mulched leaves abundant on the ground, provide delectible delights for them
to enjoy.
Black Birds follow next, sometimes perched on a tree branch or trellis fence and they too score a treat or more.
Sparrows, one in particular with ruffled feathers all downy, hops about alone or with its mates nibbling a crust or two brought in on the wing, so to speak.
The sunshine with its intense brightness colours everything, even more.
It brings its warmth to all it touches and shines upon within its reach.

Then suddenly out of the blue-------------
Pukakoe strutting along like a lanky youth, on outside of the trellis fence on the edge of fauna, off to meet Ms Pukakoe on a date!
