While I was out walking one day
I saw a man pitching hay
I stood in thought for awhile
them he looked over and gave me a smile
His face to me looked like a golden sun,s ray
then he came over and said, goodday
While he talked and had a rest
I notice some words written
across his chest
though my feet are bound and my hands are sore
I know one day I will Labour no more
By him I am owned but in my heart I am free
And no one can take that away from me
He said gooday and went on his way
Back to the field to pitch more hay.
