“Oh mate” he cried – “I’ve come to harm –
I’ve gorn and broke me bleedin’ arm.
It was this pole you see –
It went and broke on me.
I threw meself aside
So I didn’t pierce me hide
And landed on me wrist
And I wasn’t even pi$$ed!”
“The pain was bad – but I was brave
The family’s feelings I wished to save
But when me hand went all purple
I walked to the hospurtle
Was x-rayed and poked
And the Doctor said ‘it broked”
So now you see I am casted
Not pissed - just plastered!”
