The Sequel to The Phantom of The Opera
Be amongst the first in the world to experience Andrew Lloyd Webber's new musical masterpiece… Love Never Dies
Having been seen by over 100 million people worldwide and taken more than US $5 billion at the box office, THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, is widely regarded as the single most successful piece of entertainment in history.

Now, the story of the Phantom continues in a brand new musical production, LOVE NEVER DIES.
With an award winning creative team including Director Simon Phillips (Priscilla Queen of the Desert – The Musical), Choreographer Graeme Murphy (Sydney Dance Company), Designer Gabriela Tylesova (Opera Australia), and one of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s finest scores to date, LOVE NEVER DIES will be the first new Australian production of an Andrew Lloyd Webber musical in almost 20 years.
In LOVE NEVER DIES, one of the world’s greatest love stories continues. For years the Phantom haunted the depths of the Paris Opera House and isolated himself from the world. It was not until he fell fiercely in love with a young soprano Christine Daaé that he first felt the rush of his existence. His love quickly grew into obsession, and his madness drove Christine into the arms of another - her childhood sweetheart Raoul.
The year is 1907. It is 10 years after his disappearance from the Paris Opera House and the Phantom has escaped to a new life in New York where he lives amongst the screaming joy rides and freak-shows of Coney Island.

In this new electrically-charged world, he has finally found a place for his music to soar. All that is missing is his love - Christine Daaé.
Now one of the world’s finest sopranos, Christine is struggling in an ailing marriage to Raoul. So, it is with excitement she accepts an invitation to travel to New York and perform at a renowned opera house.
In a final bid to win back her love, the Phantom lures Christine, her husband, and their young son Gustave from Manhattan, to the glittering and glorious world of Coney Island… unbeknownst of what is in store for her…
Ben Lewis will create the role of The Phantom. Ben’s previous stage credits include the original Australian cast of Priscilla Queen of the Desert- The Musical, Sir Galahad in the original Australian cast of Monty Python’s Spamalot, two-seasons as Count Carl-Magnus in Stephen Sondheim’s A Little Night Music, Urinetown with Sydney Theatre Company and Polites in The Odyssey for Black Swan and the Malthouse.
Anna O’Byrne will create the role of Christine, having already played Christine to great acclaim in a previous Australian tour of The Phantom of the Opera. Anna is an award-winning classically trained singer, and has performed as Polly Peachum in The Threepenny Opera, and in works by Mozart, Puccini and Ibert for The Victorian Opera, Victorian College of the Arts and Victorian Youth Opera.
