30 years on and DRC Auckland is going mobile – and we’re not talking telecommunications, rather our Information and Advisory service.  Soon you’ll be able to visit our Mobile Information and Equipment service in convenient community locations across Auckland, from Franklin to Rodney.  

The purpose of extending our mobile service is to be more visible in the community and be a point of contact to inform and advise members of the public of the variety of support options available to them in their local community. 

You will see our mobile vans covering South, Central and East; West, North Shore and Rodney districts.  The vans have specific routes mapped out and from mid-July you will be able to track the vans, email the drivers from our website and call the drivers on mobile.

The calendar for the Mobile Service van locations is currently being developed, but if you’re curious, here are a few places we’ve booked so far.  We look forward to seeing you in your community real soon.  Come and see what’s on board and try a mobility scooter while you’re there!

• Tuesday 12th July, 9.30 – 11.30am, Foodtown Grey Lynn.

• Wednesday 13th July, 9am -11.30am, Countdown Mt Wellington.

• Sunday 17th July, 11-4pm, Multicultural Expo, Mt Eden War Memorial Hall, 489 Dominion Rd.

• Tuesday 19th July, 11.30 – 12.30pm, New World Warkworth.

• Thursday 21st July, 10.30 -12.30pm, New World, Orewa.

• Monday 25th July, 10.30-12pm Metlifecare Highland Park Village.

• Tuesday 26th July, 10-11.30am Summerset Retirement Village, Flat Bush.

• Wednesday 27th July, 10.30-1pm Manukau Super Clinic.

• Thursday 28th July, 10.30 -12pm Vision Dannemora.
