There are ever increasing demands on all of us these days. Life sometimes seems to be as busy as it was when we were 20 years younger..and it takes it out of us - physically, mentally and emotionally - no matter how healthy we are and how energetic we usually feel.
Often we can't take regular breaks or holidays and so we go on draining our energy reserves until we feel we're running on vapor.
That's how we feel when our minds and bodies are out of balance and need relaxation.
Reiki can help us and Reiki is becoming as well known in New Zealand as it is in the UK, Europe and the US.
It's not a new fad. Reiki has been around for a long time but it only became easily available in the late 1940s.
Many New Zealanders are feeling the benefits of having Reiki treatments. Once people experience the benefits if Reiki, they go on to train in Reiki themselves so that they can give themselves and their family these wonderfully relaxing and re-vitalising treatments.
Reiki is a safe, simple and effective support system and an effective tool for bringing well-being, reducing stress and the effects of stress and overwork which could lead to depression and illness if it goes on too long.
Reiki helps to bring the mind and body into a state of balance and relaxation.
Reiki is a non invasive and natural complementary therapy. The client remains fully clothed and is covered with a blanket. The client can either lie down or sit comfortably.
A Reiki trained practitioner places their hands on a client. Reiki energy flows from the practitioner’s hands to the client. This additional energy revitalises and replenishes life force, re-balances the body’s energies and strengthens the body’s own ability to heal.
It could be worthwhile finding out what Reiki could do for you. Finding an experienced Reiki Master Teacher can be your first step in regaining your sense of well-being.
