I used all of the methods suggested above and ended up with a dentist who thought he knew better than me and insisted that he use amalgam fillings in my teeeth, which was a total 'no go' for me. I walked out of the treatment room with a hole in my mouth before he would agree to do what I wanted. Needless to say I never went back. The dentist I have now I found through the recommendation of a friend who has good connections to the natural health industry. I am very happy with his nontoxic, gentle and consultative approach.
Why didn't you go off to Thailand..like all the other witless non-supporting NZ's....so you knew better than the Dentist....that's incredible! White fillings are toxic also and more likely to cause leakage and need replacing in the end....I bet the dentsit was glad to see the end of your teeth and let you have your ignorant way....!
I have spent the last few years trying to find a dentist who will remove my breaking brittle teeth and their nasty black fillings. I have had all sorts of arguments from dentists but the overriding answer seems to be that they can charge me ongoing maintenance if I go their way, plus extras for bridges etc. What ever happened to my being able to control what happens to my body? Or to consumer choice for that matter? Coffee Queen I know exactly how you feel.
