Yes Ability Resource Centre

The Yes Ability Resource Centre provides community based resources and services to disabled people, family/whanau, support people and health professionals. The Centre puts people in touch with ideas and people can see first hand how modifications can be made to their new or existing home.

The Yes Ability Resource Centre offers: An Accessible Showhome, modelling best practice in design and layout. Come and try the latest in-home support equipment and everyday living aids, from wheelchair ramps, walking sticks, goodgrip cutlery to the latest in high-tech kitchen gadgets which can be purchased at the centre - we also hire out wheelchairs, ramps, walkers, crutches and mobility scooters.

The Centre also offers Disability Information and Advice and within the centre there is a wonderful synergy of disability related community organisations also housed under the same roof to meet a variety of community needs. Staff at the centre are highly skilled in assisting people to choose the best options for their lifestyle needs, they can also provide advice on how best to meet the needs arising from impairment, with the most appropriate products or equipment.
