Think hunchbacked scaly swamp monsters, esoteric glow in the dark children, and ethereal other world beings taking turns gliding across a continual cat walk and you have just some of the attractions at this year’s NZ Body Art Awards, presented by North Shore City. This annual Event presents the crème of NZ talented youth and artists of bodyart and special effects.
Be enthralled and entertained with the visual feast of moving art and guest entertainers as this emerging Event grows into a firm fixture in the Arts Calendar.
The NZ Body Art Awards, presented by North Shore City, with a strong presence and support from Richard Taylor, Weta Workshop, is a spectacular showcase of the industry, celebrating the talents and creative excellence of our young NZ artists and graduates of this exciting and diverse art form. It provides a platform for this sector of the community to display their talent to the world of film and television.
Profits from this Event are donated to the NZ Body Art Trust which has been established to support the education of NZ body & special effects artists and to promote their talents to a wider global audience.
Be part of the spectacle and add to our theme. Come dressed in our jungle themed fantasy and be in to win a spot prize.
