Local Sports Club Continues to Support Others
Takapuna and Scousers Football clubs are again holding a couple of fundraising events in late October (29th and 30th). This is the 5th year they will have raised $5,000 plus to benefit mainly North Shore Hospice and Starship Hospital. Two wonderful causes!
The event which grows in popularity year by year is a Beatles Night with music by Abbey Road - probably New Zealands finest tribute band.
Most sports clubs battle to raise funds for their own existance and the club is somewhat unique doing this for others, and are proud of the efforts of many at the club.
We get great support from the local business community with donations for the related raffles run in conjunction with the Beatles nights.
