I am a divorced Christian; I tend to avoid Christians who label themselves 'fundamentalists'. I recently moved to Auckland from Whangarei after the place where I lived and worked closed down, so am looking for work and a flatting situation with other seniors. Two accidents, neither of them my responsibility, since I arrived here in early September, have rather put me on the back foot. My wonderful sons and daughters-in-law, as well as friends, have helped maintain my faith in humanity and in myself! I have been a librarian for most of my working life. I was awarded a B.A. in sociology and won a scholarship in 2004.
I enjoy interacting with my grandchildren. My passion is embroidery and I also enjoy reading.
