Hey great to know there are a few Hagg fans out there. If you go to youtube online and enter Merle Haggard you will get about 30 short video clips of Merle doing some of his best recordings. Some when he first started way back in the early 60`s and some from his most recent US tour with Bob Dylan.Even at 70 the old Hagg is still the master.I reckon I have almost every song he ever recorded. I started collecting his music since "All my friends are gonna be strangers" album about 1960 then after that came "Okie from Musgokie" album recorded live at Musgokie Oklahoma. Of course that was here in NZ no doubt there were other albums in between that may not have been released here then but have since.I think to date he must have about 60 odd albums.

G'day ramblingfever, You are not wrong mate. I wonder how many people know he sung the theme song "The Dukes Of Hazard" (the original dukes) I've got "Yesterdays Wine" blasting out at present but it's not 11.0 c'clock yet!!! Yes, I suppose I've got about 15 of his hits on this puter.... singers come and go quite fast and then forgotten, but the C & W singers seem to perform forever. What about Montgomery Gentry for a C & W singer? I enjoy "Blues" music as well and the grand daddy of them all, BB King's still going, and the last I heard he was 84 years old. He started performing as a young fella in the 30's, and heres another old campaigner....R 'n' R'er Fats Domino, I was gyrating around to his singing back in 1955....hells teeth, time rolls on aye. Punch up this one....Montgomery Gentry, "Gone Like A Freigth Train"

G'day there R'F,
Yeah mate, they do another one together too "No Show Jones" ....Geoge and Tammy Wynette team up well together aye, just listened to "My Elusive Dreams" and "Storms Never Last"
Surprising when you are flicking around the music scene you stumble upon singers you have completely forgotten about.....how about Wilson Phillips singing "Release Me" I'll check out a few more of hers now.
Cheers.
