This book is a conclusion to a trilogy. First book A Child Called It, then The Lost Boy and then A Man Named Dave, all by Dave Pelzer. A survivor of child abuse Dave writes an amazing book, touching the heart of everyone who cares about the welfare of children. You will be moved to tears.

Have just finished reading this series of books thanks to another reccomendation and would heartily reccomend to others. One is amazed that a parent could be so cruel to just one of her kids, not all of them, but all credit to Dave, the abused child. He succeeded in life and went on to help others.
