Gosh, you are so competitive Dr L, you keep reminding us that you intend doing all this training rolleyesrolleyes I'm too far away to get involved in training with anyone!!
Whitianga would be a good venue for the 2014 Pink Plonk Bitofado. You all keep telling me it is on your "Bucket List".
Thank you for all the work you are putting into this Dr L, Desi and all, although I know you enjoy all of this organising immensly. Great!!!

Hi lovable Nana. Good information. I've sent friend request but had a lot of trouble with that code so finally put it in both the message box and not sure which is corret. Anyway if you get a cryptic message that's where it came from. will give you my regular email when you accept because I find the grownups one very clumsy to use.

Dr L, on your recce trip, could you look at South Street in Nelson please - I remember a street of old houses when I was down there some time ago, really cute - I think it may be of interest, but it was a while ago and you'd need to check it out. Some of them looked old from the front but had been renovated at the back - at that time we could walk through them, but perhaps not now. Some of them were for holiday rentals at the time too.........

Lindelew,Thanks Great link I have found to South Street. We are going up on Monday now and will go into City and see how we can include that in A Heritage Walk It is an amazing group of houses and makes us quite envious because of what we have lost in Christchurch.Cheers,

Lindelew, We have been to Nelson each Christmas for the last few years and the houses you mentioned were still there about a year ago. I'm not sure if you can walk through them now but didn't notice any open to public.
It really is a quaint street.
Cheers
Sivam

Hi Sivam, am just reading DrL's reply - I looked up the site after that, and you can still rent some of them out for a minimum 2-night stay it seems - might be interested in that. They still look as cute as they did then

It will be interesting to go on the heritage walk Dr L and learn about the history of the city. I think most of us in our group are not locals but come from all sorts of places.lol
Founders Park is an interesting place to visit, have you researched that?
