What about us poor souls with cell phone which, by choice, only takes and receives phone calls and the very odd text?? Or like my hubby who doesn't own or even know how to operate a cell phone??

I will not avail myself of that technology. In fact, I do not even have online or telebanking. Those systems are just too much at risk of scammers as far as I'm concerned. I think that technology has gone far enough with the plastic card.

Some of the places now when a purchase is under $35 you dont even have to sign on a cr card so lose the card and anyone can buy, get their things scanned,, n leave the shop..
The bank will cover it ,,if its lost and Reported to them,,,,but how long before some who lose it ,know they have dropped or left it somewhere!!
Scary thought really..
OKK we have a near on original wee celly as well
can send n receive txts n use it for long distance travel in case of emergencies , but as for DH using it or it doing anything OR
to give or take $$$ for us ,,,its never likely to be able to do that and wont be updating when we have a working landline anyway lol
Cheers Kai

Kiwibank is investigating a way to use a mobile app for cardless ATM withdrawals.
British banks have announced upgrades to their mobile apps that let customers withdraw money with a six-digit code instead of a card.
Kiwibank communications manager Bruce Thompson said the bank had already started looking into the technology.
I have enough trouble seeing and pressing four digits on the dirty window of the local Kiwi Bank ATM
