After a series of angry meetings around the country - with more to come - the petition to save TVNZ7, our only non-commercial public broadcasting TV channel, has hit 30,000. The channel is set to close at the end of this month. But it isn't too late to make your voice heard and join the clamour for genuine public broadcasting in New Zealand. The Save TVNZ website has an easy link to the petition and details of public meetings which may be near you - HAMILTON TONIGHT, June 13, and other regional areas soon plus areas in outer Auckland. Cheers.
