Oh I dunno Arandar...perhaps just the sound of tumbrils rattling over the odd cobblestone might bring them to their senses. Assuming they have some left.

I've disliked John Banks intensely since the days of the homosexual law reform bill, when he was absolutely vile & his hypocritical stance on gambling does nothing to endear him to anyone,so Pete's experience really confirms for me what sort of person I'd suspected him to be.

Ha! That's it for me, too, Belladonna, my dislike and distrust goes back to his stance on homosexual law reform and then to listen to him claiming the interviewer on RadioLive was inferring he'd had a homosexual relationship with Dotcom.... *shudders*
Anti-gambler takes money from SkyCity.
Homophobe uses homohumour to divert legitimate questioning.
Now, we hear his legal advice was not to comment.
What do sensible people say when they don't want to comment?
Um???
Oh that's right - 'No Comment'
But what does Banks say? I can't remember. I can't recall. Ad nauseum.
If that's true, and we know it was not, he's not fit to hold office on mental health grounds if nothing else.
FFS!!
PS: Yes, I know, the guillotine sounds like a really good option but we have to be consistent, don't we?
Hence the stocks. And that cabbage boat (whatever the heck that is?) that Banks didn't come up the river on apparently, can supply the cabbages to hurl at his head. Poetic justice too.

Absolutely - a very convenient episode of (selective?!) amnesia on his part has done little but make him look extremely shifty - & if its genuine amnesia, then he's clearly in desperate need of medical help.

More trouble for John Banks with it coming to light that a stay @ Hyatt Regency Hotel in Hong Kong paid for by Dot Com. was not in his electoral statement of pecuniary interests. It just goes on. Looking at Key, under attack in House by NZ First and Labour today I expect there are more revelations to come.
