Further to my last post, can I download onto a memory stick?.I have a new tv with a usb port.I can I know put my computer through the tv, but my whizz kid son says that might be a bad move.I have watched a whole heap of photos from a usb stick.So can I download a movie, and if so how please?

Sorry Gerald, I cannot help you there. Downloading movies through "torrents" is not legal unless you pay for them. It is a copyright thing and hefty fines if you are caught with iilegally downloaded movies.
I know that Movie download sites are around, and there must be dozens of them, but just because you can, doesn't mean you should. You would be better to use something like iTunes or join Quickflix. With Quickflix you pay just $9.95 per month and get unlimited movies. Or you could join Fatso, they send movies to you in the post and you just send them back in the freepost envelope when you've watched them. They offer good and reasonable monthly plans also.

Hi there Cookybaby. I was told about Kickass Torrents.com I dutifully downloaded this programme. Then downloaded a movie.I've used Vuze to do so. But how the heck do I play the movie? There are lots of notes etc, I just don't understand. I thought Whoopee! I can at last download movies. Why is it so diffulcult? A wise head would be appreciated
