Has anybody listened in to the 'new' sound that used to be Solid Gold? I have tuned in a few times and switched it right off again. With Solid Gold, I could turn it on anytime of the day or night and leave it on, but I definitely don't like the new sound at all. Not nearly enough of the old classic hits, so I'm really disappointed that what was good has now changed. Now I am left without a reliable radio station to listen to for music. When I'm on my computer, I tune into Timeless Taupo. It is fantastic. Just wish I could pick it up on the radio but the signal is not strong enough. Here is a link to it for anybody wanting to try it out.

G'day Cissie,

Here's two FREE sites that'll have you jumping for joy while you are on you puter....

www.upchucky.com
www.tropicalglen.com

Have a look around as they will keep you in music for months and months without listening to the same tune twice.

Cheers love. biggrin

I'm gutted that Solid Gold has gone. I tried listening to The Sound but it seems to have lost its soul. I miss Macca! and the gang.

Listening to Coast FM on the net as well as a few American stations on Tuenin Radio. To think I used to listen for 12-14 hours a day. :-(

They have broken the golden rule "If it ain't broke don't fix it" .
A great radio station destroyed ,no spark ,no life and diabolical music.I am still looking for an alternative station to listen to .Coast will suffice in the meantime .

The Sound is now a month old. Would it be possible to run a survey asking how many here have switched station or like the new format? I gave them three days before I jumped.

Does anyone know if Macca is on the airwaves anywhere?

Cheers!
