Hi Tommo1. I never touched cards in my life. This year I decided to learn Contract Bridge (Acol). It is complex, far too much to remember. I've joined the Bridge Club and now playing in my fifth months. It is very addictive and I love it. Clubs usually have lessons in February/March. Look at one in your area. Try www.houseofcards.co.nz (they are in Christchurch) or just type "free acol bridge for beginners" and you see one called, I think, No Fear Bridge. If you would give me your email address (go to the friend section for invitation) I'll email you lots of information. MIMI66

Hi All
I have played many card games over the years so am familiar with suits and high cards etc. I would like to learn to play Contract Bridge. From my initial search it seems quite involved and complex. Can anyone recommend a good online site or book with the very basics and should I go to my local club to get the basics?
