When I download photos and movies from my Cannon 550D camera everything comes up fine on the computer. When I transfer this to the flash stick and plug into the USB on another computer it uploads the photos ok but it wont upload the movie and it tells me with a message that the problem lies with my `mov1.'
file. What do I do! Is it a problem with my camera, my computer, or the compute that I am transferring via USB flash stick to. I would appreciate some advice . Thanks ...movie man

Hi oakbridge,
At a guess, I would say that there is a problem with the computer that you are transferring the videos to. It may not have the software on it to open the movie format.
When you play the movies on your own computer, what program does it open them with? Quicktime, Windows Media player?

I downloaded my photos and video clips with windows and have changed the setting to Quicktime and it seems to be working now but I still don't really understand why!

The problem is with the other computer not being able to read mov1 files. You can change file to mpeg and it should play on any computer.
