Hi Dave, sounds exciting and fun. I could be up for it if I get my health issues sorted by then.

Desi & I are interested. We think we may rent a holiday home up there and encourage a team from our Group of Canterbury Grownups.Going to mark in the diary now.

Brilliant! Thanks all. We're actually looking for a few people to preview some of the walks earlier in October as well.
This isn't just restricted to GrownUps members, bring along anyone you like. It would be great it we can get largeish group from the GrownUps Community attending though.
Who would be interested in the 2 day treasure hunt vs the 1 day casual competition?

Hi all,
Coming up in 29 October - 6 November there will be a fantastic (free) walking festival held on Waiheke Island. The main event of this festival will be the Great Waiheke Treasure Quest!
If you love quizzes and puzzles you will love this as it will really test your powers of deduction. Enjoy exploring the network of public walkways and roaming around the island as you follow the clues to treasures and, if your answers are correct, be in to win the ultimate prize.
There are two main quests. One that can be done in a day, with completed quiz forms entered into a draw. The other is done over two days, it is much more of a challenge and there will be buried treasure to be dug up by whoever reaches it first!
We thought this could be a great opportunity for some of the GrownUps groups from around the country to get together and doing something fun!
At the moment we're looking to gauge interest and see who'd be interested to join a team to take part. You can read all about the event here: www.waihekewalkingfestival.org/the-great-waiheke-treasure-quest
