Your recipe sounds delicious BFree2 but the condensed milk has a high sugar content. Does anyone have an easy & good recipe for low fat museli bars. Thanks.

I use this one frequently but change the first ingredient mix all the time, dried cranberries are wonderful in it and a littl ebit of dark chocolate is good too!
Recipe Ingredients
• 1 & 1/2 cups chopped mixed dried fruits, nuts and seeds (apricots, raisins, pineapple, pine nuts, pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds, slivered almonds – whatever takes your fancy)
• 1 & 1/2 cups rolled oats
• 1 cup wholemeal flour
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 egg
• ¼ cup canola oil
• ¼ cup brown sugar
• ½ cup apple juice
Recipe Instructions
• Pre-heat the oven to 170c. Line a 20cm square cake tin with baking paper.
• Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and press into the pan. Bake for 40 minutes or until golden. Leave to cool and cut into bars or squares.

Does anyone have a non-messy recipe for muesli bars? I did have one which had golden syrup but I lost it.
