Hi
I am in Westgate. Would love to meet and make new friends. Not sure if I can make Sunday afternoon - depends when visitors leave. Also only available the afternoon of 8th.

Hi Suetree,
if you add us all to your friends list, we can keep in touch a little easier and I can give you my address for Sunday. If you're late, it doesn't matter. We can extend the time from 1:30 - 4:30pm.

Sunday at my place will happen regardless of how many people turn up, but like Mich048 said (thanks Michele), everyone who would like to see a new group for this side of the city should try their best to come. For those that can't make it, don't fret, just add us to your friends list and we'll keep you up to date on events.

You’re all Invited
We’re creating a new club for West Auckland and all the surrounding areas.

Movies, walking, picnics, BBQ’s, potluck dinners, harbour cruises, train rides, ferry rides, bush, beaches, board games and cards, cafes and anything else you can thing of is always better shared. Always better with company.

Please come… we need some organisers and creative thinkers.

Sunday afternoon… Annie’s place… no parking in the driveway please.
Walk into the carport and follow the path (behind the white car) to the backdoor & patio area. Hope to see you then.

Sunday 29th April (tomorrow!)

1:30 – 4:30pm

Grownups Activity Group or GAG for short is the new group for men and women over 50. GAG was formed today at a meetup of GrownUps members wanting an active group for the whole of Auckland.

Although the group is based on the Western side of Auckland City, some excursions will be in the greater Auckland area.

Events will be scheduled and posted under the 'Friends' topic, in the 'GrownUps Activity Group' discussion thread as they are created, and as they approach, but because, as you know, older posts can become buried as new posts are placed, we would prefer to have you on my friends list, where we can exchange information safely.

All future posts and enquiries about this group should be made in the new thread. Thanks for the interest everyone, smile I've added you all to my friends list and I hope to meet you at future events.

GAG
Haven't heard of this before.
I was only trying to start up a 'westie' local group, to meet up once a month.
Don't think I'm ready to jump hurdles at this stage?

No problem Melsy. Keep an eye on the 'GrownUps Activity Group' discussion thread under 'Friends' anyway. We may do something you'd enjoy.
